What is a browser core and why is it important to update it?Today we will answer these questions, and also tell you how to quickly update the core in the Incogniton browser.
The browser core is a program (engine) on the basis of which browsers operate in the anti-detect browser. In simple words, it's a regular browser that you use regularly, only instead of Chrome, Incogniton uses Chromium.Why is this important?
Google regularly updates the Chrome browser. Usually, the update happens automatically, and users may not even notice it. Also, websites prefer their visitors to always use the latest version of the browser, this is considered the norm. On the other hand, if a visitor uses an older version of the browser, it raises suspicions of malicious activity. In such cases, to safeguard themselves, the website may block the account or access altogether.
Using the current version of the browser core is the key to stable and secure operation. Update your browser version in a timely manner and do not disregard this rule in order to avoid the aforementioned problems.
When a new core version is released, Incogniton will notify you after the application is launched and offer to update it. This takes a couple of seconds and usually does not cause any problems. However, if you were unable to update it automatically, you can use this manual installation guide.
Please note. That Windows 7/8.1 and MacOS 10.14 will no longer receive browser updates, so we strongly recommend updating your operating system version if you have not already done so.The mass core update instruction can be found here.
